The Gold Mine

De Goudmijn is a clearly written and accessible book about a Lean implementation, in which all Lean concepts and techniques are clearly dealt with, as well as the human side of implementing Lean. Freddy and Michael (father and son) have succeeded in pouring their broad experience into a beautiful story.

The Gold Mine is a "management novel", written in the form of a story rather than conceptual and theoretical. The authors Freddy and Michael Ballé do not write a story around one or a few ideas, but they manage to fill the whole book with them. This makes the book unexpectedly profound and very enjoyable to read.
